Breathable Mesh Harness and Leash

A step-in mesh harness with a matching lead, for cats and small dogs. Your pet steps in with their front legs and it closes over the back — no pulling anything over a head that does not want it pulled over.

What it does

• Spreads the load across the chest. A harness pulls against the ribcage rather than the throat, which is why cats and flat-faced or small breeds should never be walked on a collar.
• Step-in design. Two front legs in, fasten over the back. Much easier on a pet who resents things going over their head.
• Breathable mesh. Light and airy — it does not add a layer of heat on a warm day the way padded nylon does.
• Adjustable straps. Fine-tune the fit rather than living with the nearest size.
• Lead included. Colour-matched, and sized for the same small pets.

Fitting — and an honest word about escapes

• A loose harness is how cats get away. Cats can reverse out of anything they can back into. Adjust until you can slide two fingers flat under the straps and no more, and check it every single time before you go out.
• Introduce it indoors first. Let your cat wear it around the house for a few days before you attach a lead, and never take a cat out on a first fitting.
• Never leave a harness on an unattended pet — indoors, outdoors, in a crate or in a carrier.
• Do not tie a pet up by a harness or leave the lead attached in the yard.
