A 3.2 litre gravity water dispenser with a stainless steel bowl. No pump, no cord, no motor — water drops into the bowl as your pet drinks it, and it keeps doing that until the reservoir is empty.

What it does

  • 3.2 litres in the reservoir. Enough for a couple of pets over a couple of days, which covers a weekend away or a long day at work.
  • No electricity. Gravity does the work. Nothing to plug in, nothing to hum at 2 am, and nothing to fail in a blackout.
  • Stainless steel bowl. Does not scratch the way plastic does, and scratches are where bacteria settle. It also does not hold odours.
  • Level window. See at a glance whether it needs refilling instead of lifting the tank.
  • Stable base. Wide enough that a dog nudging it does not tip the whole thing over.

Good to know

  • Gravity dispensers still need cleaning. A full reservoir is not a clean one — biofilm builds in the tank and the neck. Empty, wash and refill every two or three days, not when it runs out.
  • Some cats prefer moving water and will drink from a running tap over any still bowl. If yours is one of them, a pumped fountain suits better.
  • If your cat has any chin or lip irritation, a stainless bowl is worth trying — and worth mentioning to your vet, who can tell you what is actually going on.
