Electric Heated Pet Bed for Cats & Small Dogs – Dark Grey

A padded bed with a removable heating pad underneath, for cats, small dogs and rabbits who feel the cold — older animals, thin coats, and anyone who has taken to sleeping on top of the heating vent.

What it does

• Two heat settings. Low is roughly 25°C and high is roughly 40°C, so you can match it to the room rather than running it flat out.
• The pad comes out. Take it out in summer and the bed is a normal bed; take it out before washing the cover.
• Raised padded sides. Something to lean into, and they keep draughts off a curled-up animal.
• Faux fur and suede surfaces. Soft to lie on and easy to brush hair off.
• Helps stiff older pets. Warmth is what many older cats and dogs seek out when their joints ache — it is comfort, not treatment.

Using a heated bed safely

• Never use it with a pet who chews cords. A chewed mains cable is a fatal risk. If there is any doubt, use an unheated bed.
• Run the cable where it cannot be walked on, tripped over or trapped under furniture, and do not use an extension lead if you can avoid it.
• Do not fold or bunch the heating pad, do not use it on top of another heat source, and do not put a heavy cover over it.
• Your pet must be able to move off the heat whenever they want. Never enclose or confine an animal on a heated bed, and do not use it for an animal who cannot move freely by themselves.
• Unplug it before cleaning, and unplug it when you are out of the house.
• Stop using it immediately if the cable, plug or pad is damaged.
