What it does

• Vertical space. Cats settle better in a home where they can get up high and look down on it. A tree is the cheapest way to add that to a flat.
• Fully wrapped sisal posts. Rope from top to bottom rather than a wrapped section with bare timber above it, so the whole post is usable for scratching.
• Condo and two baskets. An enclosed box for hiding and two open baskets for sleeping — cats use all three differently, and in a two-cat house they stop arguing over one spot.
• Weighted wide base. Stable when a cat lands hard on the top platform, which is the moment cheap trees tip.
• Dangling toy. Something to swipe at from the platform.
• Light grey. Neutral enough to sit in a living room.

Good to know

• Overall footprint is 83 × 43 cm with a height of 100 cm (32.7" × 16.9" × 39.4"). Measure your space first.
• Put it beside a window if you can. A tree with a view gets used; a tree in a corridor does not.
• Suits kittens through to adult cats. Very large or heavy cats are better served by a taller, heavier tree.
• Sisal wears out. Re-wrapping a post with new rope is a cheap job and doubles the life of the tree.
