Adjustable Pet Car Seat Belt

A nylon tether that clips into your car's seat belt receiver at one end and onto your dog's harness at the other. It stops your dog moving around the cabin and climbing into the front — which is the distraction that causes accidents.

What it does

• Clips into the seat belt buckle. The metal tongue goes into your existing receiver, so there is nothing to install.
• Adjusts 45 to 72 cm. Short enough to keep your dog on one seat, long enough that they can sit, stand or lie down.
• Swivel snap. The zinc alloy clip turns, so the strap does not wind into a twist when your dog changes position.
• Heavy nylon webbing. Wear-resistant, with metal buckles rather than plastic sliders.
• Thirteen colours.

Please read this before you use it

• Clip it to a harness. Never to a collar. In a sudden stop, a tether attached to a collar puts the entire force of your dog's body through their neck. This is the single most important thing on this page.
• This is a movement restraint, not crash protection. It is not crash tested, it carries no load rating, and we do not claim it will protect your dog in a collision. What it does is stop them roaming the cabin, leaning out a window, or reaching the driver.
• Set the length short. Adjusted long, a dog can still reach the footwell or the front seats, and can be thrown further in a hard stop.
• Not for use with a retractable lead, a breakaway collar, or a head halter.
• Road rules on restraining animals in vehicles differ between states and territories. Check the rules where you drive.
• Check the webbing and the stitching regularly and replace the tether if either is frayed.
