Interactive EVA Foam Dog Training Ball
$29.99
A soft EVA foam ball on a rope. The rope is what makes it — you can throw it twice as far as a bare ball, swing it for tug, and pick it up without putting your hand in a wet ball.
What it does
- Throws a long way. Held by the rope, the ball goes further than you can throw it by hand, which matters in a big park.
- Floats. At 42–62 g it sits on the surface — usable at the beach, a river or a pool without losing it.
- Bounces unpredictably. Foam comes off the ground at odd angles, so the chase does not end where the dog expects.
- Soft on the mouth. Easier on teeth and gums than a hard rubber ball, particularly for an older dog.
- Four sizes. 6.5 cm, 7 cm, 8 cm and 9 cm — pick one your dog cannot get fully into their mouth.
Good to know — an honest word on durability
- EVA foam is soft. This is a fetch toy, not a chew toy. A dog who lies down and works at a toy until it is in pieces will destroy this quickly, whatever the size. If that is your dog, buy solid rubber instead.
- Choose a ball wider than your dog's throat. Balls of the wrong size are a genuine choking risk for larger dogs — the 9 cm is the one for big breeds.
- Supervise, and take it away once the foam is torn or the rope is fraying.
