Interactive Automatic Cat Toy
$59.99
A laser teaser on a rotating base. Leave it on the floor and it runs the light around the room on its own, or pick it up and aim it yourself when you want to play together.
What it does
- Automatic or handheld. Set it down for hands-free play, or hold it and control where the light goes.
- Erratic pattern. The rotating base sends the light across floors and up walls in a path your cat cannot predict, which is what keeps them interested past the first minute.
- Quiet motor. It does not whine, so a nervous cat is not put off by the sound of it starting.
- Gets indoor cats moving. Chasing, pouncing and stopping — useful for a cat who sleeps eighteen hours and eats like they hunted all day.
How to use a laser toy properly
- Finish every session on something your cat can catch. Land the light on a toy or throw a treat at the end. Cats that chase a dot they can never catch can become frustrated, and some develop compulsive light-chasing.
- Never shine the light into your cat's eyes, or anyone else's.
- Ten minutes is plenty. This is a sprint toy, not something to leave running all day.
- Not suitable for a cat who already shows obsessive behaviour around lights, reflections or shadows.
