An ink-free paw print kit. Your pet's paw presses onto a clean film, and the print develops onto the card underneath — nothing touches the pad, so there is nothing to wash off afterwards.

What it does

  • Nothing on the paw. The paw presses on a protective layer, not on ink. That is what makes it possible with a cat, or with a dog who will not tolerate having a foot held for long.
  • Clear, sharp impression. Fine enough to show the pad detail, and stable enough to frame and keep.
  • No cleanup. No ink pad, no wipes, no paw prints across the kitchen floor afterwards.
  • Single use. One kit, one print — buy two if you want a spare attempt.
  • Five colours. Black, blue, pink, green and red.

Good to know

  • Practise the hold first. Have someone give treats at the head end while you take the paw. A calm, brief press gives a better print than a struggle.
  • One firm press, straight down, then lift. Rocking the paw smudges it.
  • Most people buy these for a new puppy or kitten, or for an old animal near the end. If it is the second, take two — it is not the day to be short one attempt.
  • Keep the finished print out of direct sunlight.
