What it's for

  • A full course, not a single obstacle. Tunnel, jumps, rings, weave poles and pause box cover the basic elements, so you can build a sequence rather than repeat one trick.
  • Adjustable heights. Set the hurdles low for a beginner and raise them as your dog gets confident.
  • Assembles without tools. Push-fit ABS poles in two colours, up in minutes and down just as fast.
  • Tear-resistant tunnel. 190T polyester fabric, which holds up to claws better than the light nylon on cheaper sets.
  • Packs into a bag. The whole set goes in the carry bag for the park, the beach or a friend's yard.
  • Works the head as much as the legs. Twenty minutes of course work tires most dogs more than an hour's walk.

Good to know

  • Start low and slow. Walk your dog through each obstacle on a lead before you ask for speed. Rushing the introduction is how dogs learn to refuse the tunnel.
  • Young dogs should not be jumping height. Growth plates close at different ages by breed. Keep bars at their lowest for a young dog and ask your vet when it is safe to raise them.
  • Same goes for an older dog, an overweight dog, or one with a joint history — check with your vet before jump training.
  • Set it up on grass or another forgiving surface. Not on concrete or pavers.
  • This is supervised equipment. Pack it away rather than leaving it out for a dog to play on alone.

Care
