Bungee Tug Dog Toy with 2 Cotton Rope Toys – Interactive Outdoor Tug-of-War Set

A 6-metre bungee line with two cotton tug toys on the end. Hang it from a branch or a beam and your dog can play tug against the spring on their own — which is the only version of tug that does not require you to be holding the other end.

What it does

• Springs back. A double-spring bungee inside a heavy nylon sleeve pulls back against the dog, so the toy fights back instead of going slack.
• 19.7 ft — about 6 m — of line. Enough to rig it high in a tree and still have the toy at dog height.
• Two cotton tug toys included. Both are knotted rope, and both can be swapped out when they wear.
• Sets up several ways. A tree branch, a verandah beam, a fence rail, or a garage rafter.
• Independent exercise. Chasing, jumping and pulling — real work for a high-energy dog in a small yard.

Good to know

• Set the toy at chest height, not above the head. A dog that leaps and hangs by its teeth risks dental and neck injury. Low enough that all four feet stay near the ground is the right height.
• Check the branch or beam you hang it from, and check the knot, before every session.
• Supervise. A determined dog can break a rope toy, and this is not a toy to leave rigged in the yard unattended.
• Not for puppies whose adult teeth have not come through, or for dogs with existing dental, neck or back problems.
• Take it down between sessions so the bungee is not left stretched in the sun.
