A 7kg limit is the most the maker rates the product to hold. It does not mean a 7kg pet will be comfortable in it, and it does not mean 7.5kg is fine. Where a limit is the supplier's rating rather than our own test, our product pages say so.
Weigh your pet properly
Stand on the scales holding them, then without. Vet estimates from a year ago are usually out by more than you would expect.
When in doubt, size up
The cost of a size up is small. The cost of a strap giving way on the freeway is not.
