What it does
- Padded walls all the way round. Deep bolster sides give a small dog something to lean into and one clear place to settle.
- Internal tether. A short strap with a clip is sewn inside the wall. Clip it to a harness, never a collar, so your dog stays in the seat rather than climbing into your lap.
- End straps. Two hook-and-loop straps on the end panel help hold the seat in position on the console.
- Six finishes. A ribbed weave in grey, mustard, pink or rust, or a houndstooth weave in black or green.
- A bed off the road too. Lift it out and it is a small bed for the house or the caravan.
Fit and honest limits
- The supplier rates it for pets up to 6.5 kg. That is a ceiling, not a fit. A long-bodied dog under 6.5 kg may still be cramped, so measure your dog curled up against the 23 cm inside width.
- Measure your console first. The seat is 44 cm long, 29 cm wide and 22 cm high outside. It needs to sit flat and steady without overhanging the gear selector, handbrake, cup holders or seat belt buckles. If it does not sit flat in your car, it is not the right seat for your car.
- It must never get in the driver's way. Keep the tether short enough that your dog cannot reach you, the wheel or the controls.
- This is a travel seat, not a crash restraint. It has not been crash tested and we make no claim that it protects a pet in a collision.
- Made for small dogs. Cats travel more safely in a closed carrier, so we do not suggest this open seat for a cat.
- One pet at a time. There is one tether.
- Never leave a pet alone in a parked car. A padded seat gives no protection from heat.
- Road rules on animals in vehicles differ between states and territories. Check the rules where you drive.

Care
Shake out the hair and spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The supplier lists the seat as removable and washable; follow the care label on your seat for anything more than a spot clean. Let it dry fully before it goes back in the car.
